Ok, so I’m slapping my own wrists – shame on me! I have had the opportunity to work with so many cuties and their families, and I’ve been terribly lazy about updating the blog. Again, I do tend to share more on my Facebook page so feel free to come on over, like it and stay updated.

Here’s one of those cuties, Mr. Holden. If you do follow my Facebook page, you may remember this gem from his six month session:

Jamie + Matt = Wedding!

Ooooh, it’s been a while since I posted on the blog – I tend to post far more on my Facebook page. But I’m thrilled to share this year’s first wedding with you. Jamie and Matt, along with their fabulous bridal party, braved the February chill for some great outdoor shots near their venue, Key Hall at Proctor’s. Second shooter, Brian, and I tend to ‘go into a zone’ and we ‘forget’ how cold we are, and these guys kept right up with us! From start to finish, it was a fun, emotional, whirlwind day! Mazzone Hospitality did a great job, as usual, for both the ceremony set-up and the reception at Key Hall, which I will be seeing A LOT of this year. And DJ Chris Wright of Discovery DJ.

Though Jamie’s dad had lost his battle with cancer a few weeks before the wedding, he was definitely present in spirit.

Marcie & Peter = Album Design

Yay – another one checked off the list and on it’s way from the printer! Here’s Marcie & Peter’s layout, which was a joy to design as a 10×10 album with an awesome photo cover, yeilding 32 lovely pages.

Michelle & Chris – Album Design

Next album design up is Michelle + Chris, who opted for a 12 x 12 Standard Leather album with the design-as-needed option, but with so much ‘real estate’ in the larger album size, I was able to comfortably fit all their requested images, and then some, yeilding a 30-page book.

Stephanie & Eric – Album Design

Album designing season is here! Stephanie & Eric opted for a 10 x 10 Standard Leather album with a photo cover and the design-as-needed option which yeilded 32 pages.

Belly sessions are so exciting! I get anxious to meet the little one, so I can only imagine how mom and dad-to-be must feel! Mary & Andrew met up with me to celebrate their impending arrival and we were lucky enough to beat the freeze, which made for some great outdoor shots! Baby K is one lucky dude!

Hope & Keith = Album Design

Some couples ask, “Is it too late to order our album now?” It’s never too late to celebrate your wedding again! Just like Hope and Keith from 2009, though it feels like just yesterday for this Halloween wedding. So, make note: winter is coming, which is my primary design-time for albums. After the holiday rush, I look forward to getting back to album production, so send those orders in, and for those who are already on the schedule – keep an eye on your email – your preview will be coming soon in the new year!

I love this classic design – it’s clean, uncluttered and will definitely stand the test of time.

Jessica + Dave = Wedding!

Oh boy, did it rain on October 19, but that didn’t dampen the celebration for Jessica & Dave’s Saratoga wedding! All the brighteness and warmth we needed came from this awesome couple and their fabulous friends and family! The ladies looked stunning, with hair and make-up by Make Me Fabulous. Following their ceremony at St. Mary’s in Ballston Spa, they partied at the beautiful Canfield Casino with Grand Central Station kicking it into high gear. Classe Catering added their elegant touch with food, decor and even the floral needs, from ladies bouquets to table centerpeices. It was great working with Brian as the videographer at Moak Films, and thanks to Seth for assisting as a co-shooter.

Grayson is one!

I can’t believe how fast time flies! I remember shooting Grayson’s mom & dad’s wedding – even their engagement pics, and now he’s all of one year old! What a handsome little man! This one is going to be a heartbreaker!

Jessica & Ryan = Album Design

Here is another recent album design for Jessica & Ryan’s fabulous Saratoga National Weddding, following their ceremony at St. Augustine’s in Troy. They opted for a large 12×12 Standard Leather Album with the design-as-needed option, which yeilded 38 pages. They wanted to showcase so many of their fabulous images without the design being too cluttered, so opting for the larger size and expanded page count was perfect for telling their wedding day story in images.

May they enjoy their album and wedding day for many, many years to come!
